Aaron James Farmer was born in the winter of 1969 at Mercy Hospital in San Diego, California. He was raised in the Mira Mesa area of San Diego by his parents Wayne and Martha. Soon after, a brother was added to the Farmer family, Adam Farmer .

Aaron attended Mason elementary in Mira Mesa and later St. Didacus Catholic School in the Normal Heights area. He later attended USDHS (University of San Diego High School). While at University High Aaron excelled at sports and was a three year letterman and Co-Captain in both Soccer and Volleyball. Both teams were ‘ranked’ teams with the Volleyball team making its first men’s CIF appearance and going all the way to the quarterfinals against Poway High.

Aaron went on to attend San Diego State University. While there he was an active member of Sigma Nu Fraternity. Aaron held many offices including house treasurer and was awarded the Fraternity’s highest award “Man of the Year”. After 5 years he graduated with a Batchelor of Science degree with an emphasis in accounting.

After working for the mortgage department of Wells Fargo Bank he took a position with the Auto Finance division in Orange County California. It was a short time later that Aaron took a position with the certified public accountancy firm, Zamucen & Close. Zamucen and Close specialize in Business Valuation and Forensic Accounting. Aaron valued many businesses for dissolution of marriage, buy/sells and economic damages. Aaron has testified in court and was a qualified expert witness in San Diego Superior Court. His client was awarded an additional $200,000 after Aaron’s testimony.

In 1996 Aaron decided he wanted to own his own business. With just the desire to be successful he launched his own insurance agency, Aaron J. Farmer Insurance Agency, Inc. www.farmerinsurance.com . Aaron moved back to San Diego and joined the Farmers Insurance Group of Companies. Ten years later Aaron was named to the prestigious ‘Presidents Council’. Presented to the top ½% of all agents nationwide Aaron had the #3 production in the state of California and #11 in the entire country out of 16,500.

In 2002 Aaron was married to Desiree Wallace and in 2004 they gave birth to a son Peyton Adam Farmer. In 2009 Olivia was introduced as the newest member of the family. The Farmers currently reside in San Diego. Aaron enjoys golfing, cycling and spending time with Peyton and Olivia. Desiree is a full time employee and full time mother. She is currently training for a half marathon. Aaron and his family also love taking their dog, Chubbs, a yellow lab for long walks. You can see more of the Farmers @ www.thefarmerclan.com
